Over 10 years ago I walked through the doors of Grace Church. I remember thinking what a beautiful, cozy little church and the people all looked happy to be there. I also really enjoyed the music and the Mass was meaningful to my life and my concerns. I still believe that those feelings are the main reason I keep attending services at Grace. I look forward to Sunday Mass. Sundays are now a time for me lift the pressures of the past week off my shoulders and relax. I also consider the members and the Pastors my friends.
Over the years, I have had many difficult times but Grace Church members and our Pastors have always been there for me and my family. In the last seven years my faith has grown and I now can look to God as a friend to share my joys and concerns. That is real nice. I have a greater understanding of the Word of God. I have also learned how to pray. I know it sounds silly that I "learned" how to pray at Grace Church but it is true. Prayer is now a part of my daily life in a very natural form.
The music is still my favorite part of the service. It pulls it all together. I would encourage you to come and see and perhaps you will also find a church you can call home! ~ CL
I was in a state of spiritual starvation when I found Grace Church in June 2002. I had been a regular church-goer my entire life but mostly out of a sense of obligation. When I started attending masses at Grace Church, I found a community in the truest sense of the word. I was given the tools to develop an intimate relationship with God and began to see myself as his beloved child.
The community at Grace Church is like that of a family, supportive, loving, and caring. People in the congregation are in contact with each other throughout the week, making this not just a "Sunday church." This is my first experience in truly being part of a church family. Fr. Peter and Amy are devoted and humble followers of Christ and are dedicated to their congregation. They empower the rest of us so that we can try to live the way God wants us to. I have done the best I can to describe what we have at Grace Church, but it must be experienced in person to be fully comprehended. ~Mary
On Christmas eve, 1999, my son asked us to attend Mass at the Grace Church in Dover MA. I found a whole new world of faith and a new way to worship. ~Nancy
I had been seeking a church home for a long time before I found Grace Church. My extensive search had brought me to a variety of churches, ranging from conservative ones that featured repetitive services with prayer by rote, to liberal ones that doubted both the authority of the Bible and the divinity of Jesus. All of these churches left me with the feeling that I wasn't where God wanted me to be.
Then I attended service at Grace Church, and found a Bible-based church with preaching that was edifying and inspiring, and offered genuine Christian fellowship. Grace Church also has a wonderful music ministry, which has brought this element of worship alive to me for the first time. I truly feel blessed that God has led me to Grace Church. ~Bruce
I experience God's Love at Grace Church. ~V.
